St. Rita 5K and Fun Run, Oct. 30, Alexandria
The St. Rita 5K & Fun Run is one of the oldest and most popular races in Alexandria, now in its 17th year. \

Open to all ages and abilities, the fall event features a live DJ, $1,000+ in finisher prizes, and a 1K fun run for younger kids. Walkers and strollers welcome. All entrants get free t-shirt and swag bag. \
\
The flat and fast course is USATF-certified and runs along Potomac Ave. and Main Line Blvd. in Del Ray and Potomac Yard in Alexandria. \
