The restaurant at the Washington Plaza has something for everyone to enjoy - from steak and seafood to homemade pasta and club sandwiches.

Our energetic Thomas Circle restaurant serves innovative American cuisine, including light, homemade soups, fresh grilled chicken, steak and seafood, and fabulous salads and desserts. Because we use locally grown ingredients, our menu changes seasonally, keeping the choices varied and interesting.

The ambience is inviting at any time of day. Watch the "early birds" at Thomas Circle in the morning, sunbathers taking a dip in our pool after lunch, or a beautiful sunset at the end of the day. Sip a glass of champagne or a cocktail by candlelight on our poolside terrace and make a wish while watching the stars over Washington, DC.

For quiet, private dining, Room Service is available from 6:30am - 11:00pm. (currently suspended)

Our Chic & Glamorous International Lounge

Located in the Washington Plaza Hotel's lobby, the International Lounge is a modern and chic, yet comfortably inviting bar. A fireplace provides warmth and light in cold weather, while the glass bricks and pierced metal partitions admit the soft light of late summer evenings.

The keynote of the International Lounge is the feeling of glamour and sophistication that reigned throughout the Kennedy years, the golden age of All-American style, full of promise and ambition. Think dressed up jet-setters and crisply-clothed kings and queens of commerce enjoying a classic cocktail, nibbling on elegant snacks, and mingling into the wee hours.

There's always something going on at the International Lounge. Meet friends and make new ones during our Happy Hour. We'll admit, in great weather it's hard to beat the outdoor appeal of the Poolside Bar and Terrace, so you'll have to try both!
